  2. 2014 is a long way off, but........

    I see on the web site of the World Percheron Congress for 2014 in Springfield, MA (www.2014worldpercheroncongress.com) that DAP will man the hospitality booth for a day at the show. The show will be at the Big E grounds and there will be a slate of classes for percheron farm teams. We will be there with a string on halter and hitch horses. As we live in Michigan, I won't be out to where most of you stop for coffee very soon..... unless some of you are going to Horse Progress Days in Clare, ...

  3. New fore cart

    Started on a new three wheel fore cart today. Built one a couple of years ago with a three point hitch. Hopefully this will be the ultimate cart with both 3 point hitch and ground drive PTO. Been designing this for a couple of years, but the best laid plans don't always work out. Will keep progress reported.

  4. Ox Sling?

    I'm trying to find an Ox Sling for this year's Northeast Animal Powered Field days. There will be a demonstration on caring for and trimming a steer's feet and the presenter would like to use an Ox Sling (or a suitable substitute if someone has any ideas). We aren't looking to purchase one, only to borrow one for the event.
